Baseus Packs a 140W GaN Supply and Status Screen Into the 14-Port Spacemate RD1 Plus
Baseus has expanded its Spacemate docking station line with the Baseus Spacemate RD1 Plus, a 14-port hub that carries its own GaN power supply instead of relying on an external adapter. The dock is listed on Amazon at a launch price of $259.99.
One brick fewer, one chassis larger

Integrating the power hardware changes the desk setup as much as the spec sheet. Baseus rates the built-in GaN supply at 140W input, and the dock’s total power output is rated at 120W. Because the supply lives inside the enclosure, the RD1 Plus is larger than the standard RD1, which ships as an 11-in-1 dock and needs an external charger.
Two HDMI outputs, two different ceilings
The display section is where buyers should read the fine print. Both HDMI ports can drive 4K, but only one of them reaches 4K at 120Hz. The second tops out at 4K at 60Hz. That asymmetry matters for anyone planning a high-refresh monitor alongside a secondary screen.
Where the watts go
Charging is split across several paths. Two USB-C ports on the front deliver 45W fast charging, while the host USB-C connection supports up to 100W. Baseus says its PowerTune 3.0 technology allocates power dynamically according to the device connected, rather than dividing it in fixed shares. A built-in cooling fan is included to handle heavier loads.
Data, networking and card readers
All USB ports on the dock are rated for up to 10Gbps. The port count also includes one Gigabit Ethernet connection, one SD card slot and one TF reader. Baseus has not detailed how the remaining ports break down between USB-A and USB-C data connections, nor has it published dimensions, weight or fan noise figures.
A display that reports rather than decorates
A screen sits on the front of the dock and reports power output, host connection status and data transfer information. It is a monitoring feature rather than a second display output, giving users a quick read on what the hub is doing without opening software.
How it compares with the regular RD1
The RD1 Plus adds three ports over the 11-in-1 RD1, along with the internal GaN supply and the front display. The trade-off is size: the Plus model takes up more room on a desk. Baseus has not announced availability beyond Amazon, and warranty terms and supported operating systems were not included in the launch information.
At $259.99, the RD1 Plus sits in the premium end of the docking station accessory market, where the pitch is fewer accessories on the desk and more capability inside a single enclosure.
