Beats Teases Pokémon Collaboration as Pikachu Beats Pill Speaker Rumors Build

Beats has shared a short teaser video pointing toward a Pokémon collaboration, and the clues suggest a Pikachu Beats Pill speaker is on the way. The clip, posted by the Apple-owned brand, includes a title referencing the idea of catching something new. It shows a Beats Pill speaker alongside Beats and Poké Ball icons placed side by side.

What the Teaser Shows

The video is brief and does not confirm a product name or a launch window. Its imagery is enough to signal that the Beats Pill is part of the story, with the Poké Ball icon tying the teaser to the Pokémon franchise. Pikachu, the franchise’s best-known character, is the likely focus of the collaboration, though Beats has not issued a formal product announcement.

Earlier Leak Points to Target

The teaser follows a separate leak from earlier this month. BritBratTV shared two photos of what is alleged to be a Pikachu-themed Beats Pill box. Those photos were taken at Target, the U.S. retailer. The images have not been confirmed by Beats or Pokémon, and the box itself has not been verified as an official retail package.

Beats Pill Pricing and Release History

The Beats Pill is a Bluetooth speaker. Apple re-released the Beats Pill in 2024 after the previous model was discontinued in 2022. In the U.S., the regular price is $149.99. The teaser does not state whether a Pikachu-themed version would carry the same price or a different one.

Pikachu at Apple Park

Pikachu visited Apple Park in August, a detail that adds to the sense of an ongoing connection between the character and Apple’s ecosystem. The visit was not tied to a product announcement at the time, and Beats has not said whether it relates to the current teaser.

What Remains Unknown

No release date has been disclosed. The official price of a Pikachu-themed speaker is also unconfirmed, as is availability outside the U.S. It is not yet clear whether the product has been fully confirmed by Beats or Pokémon, and full specifications have not been shared. For now, the teaser and the earlier Target photos are the main pieces of evidence, leaving the exact timing and details of any Pikachu Beats Pill speaker still open.
