Endrick’s Agent Insists Real Madrid Stay Remains the Plan

Endrick: Man United target’s priorities become clear as agent weighs in on Real Madrid exit talk

Endrick’s agent has moved to quiet the noise around his client, telling Adnkronos that the forward’s intention is to remain at Real Madrid. Alan Redmond, head of football at Roc Nation, said the player’s priority is the club’s project rather than financial considerations. The statement comes with Endrick Real Madrid future again under scrutiny after a season of almost no league action.

Four minutes in eight league games

Endrick: Man United target’s priorities become clear as agent weighs in on Real Madrid exit talk

Endrick has played just four minutes across eight league matches this season. The 19-year-old has been overlooked by Carlo Ancelotti, Xabi Alonso and now José Mourinho. That lack of involvement has fuelled talk of a January exit, echoing similar speculation last winter. Mourinho’s decision to leave him out is frustrating, especially given how Endrick performed on loan last season.

The Lyon loan that showed his level

At Lyon, Endrick made 21 appearances and scored eight goals while providing eight assists. He operated as a dynamic right-winger and inside forward, drifting centrally to influence games. Defenders struggled to contain him. The spell was expected to springboard his European career, and it attracted interest from Manchester United and other top clubs.

He chose to return to Real Madrid to earn a place rather than accept a move elsewhere. Redmond said the idea has always been to stay in Madrid. He added that Endrick has the qualities to be at Real Madrid but needs opportunities. Physical problems after the Lyon loan also affected him, according to Redmond.

Why the agent expects a long stay

Redmond said the financial aspect is not important to Endrick, who evaluates the club’s project. He believes the player will likely stay at Real Madrid long term. Still, staying risks wasting his talent. He could become a superstar at another top European club, and nobody would blame him for pushing for a mid-season exit.

At Old Trafford, Benjamin Šeško is likely to undergo surgery and will not return soon for Manchester United. That leaves a key role for a forward. Endrick could have a key role at Manchester United, and he should take the chance if they come calling. Moving to Old Trafford would give him the opportunity to live up to his potential.

For now, the agent says an exit is not on the agenda. Endrick’s future remains at Real Madrid, but the situation could change if his minutes do not.
