MacRumors and Southern Straps Give Away an Apple Watch Series 12 and a Handcrafted Nylon Band
The MacRumors Southern Straps giveaway is now open, offering one winner an Apple Watch Series 12 and a handcrafted nylon band from Southern Straps. Entries are being accepted through a widget that requires an email address, and the contest closes on October 16 at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time.
What the Winner Receives
The prize pairs Apple’s latest smartwatch with a band designed for everyday wear and workouts. The Apple Watch Series 12 is the centerpiece, while the Southern Straps band adds a durable, American-made accessory.
Southern Straps has been making Apple Watch bands since 2015, the same year the first Apple Watch launched. The California-based company produces nylon NATO-style bands that are handcrafted from a single piece of nylon. Each band is folded over, heat sealed, and stitched for durability. Customers can choose from over 10 color options, including solid green, black, and beige, as well as striped combinations such as blue/green, blue/red, khaki/red, blue/white, blue/orange, black/gray, and red/white/blue. Hardware is available in black, silver, or gold.
Bands come in two sizes: 42mm to 49mm and 38mm to 42mm, and they work with every Apple Watch model. Pegged spring bars are included. The bands are priced at $60 each, or two for $105, and are backed by a five-year warranty.

Winner Selection and Notification
