Honor Win Tablet: 240Hz OLED, 10,000mAh Battery Confirmed Ahead of October 21 Launch
Honor has used a round of official teasers to confirm the core hardware of the Honor Win Tablet, a compact gaming tablet scheduled to launch on October 21, 2026. The disclosures cover the chipset, display and battery, while a demo unit shown at the announcement event offered an early look at one memory configuration.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and active cooling

The tablet will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. Honor pairs the chip with active cooling, a design choice that separates the Win Tablet from the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5, which relies on passive cooling. Active cooling is typically associated with sustained performance during longer gaming sessions, and the source author suggests it could give Honor an edge over Lenovo’s passive approach.
Display: 8.4-inch OLED at 240Hz
Honor confirmed an 8.4-inch OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate. The resolution is 2304×1440 pixels, a detail that surfaced earlier than the official teaser round. That combination places the Win Tablet in rare territory among compact gaming tablets, where high refresh OLED panels are uncommon.
Battery capacity compared with rivals
At 10,000mAh, the Win Tablet carries a larger battery than both of its named competitors despite having a smaller screen. The Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5 has an 8.8-inch display and a 9,000mAh battery, while the RedMagic Astra 2 has a 9.06-inch screen and an 8,300mAh cell.
Memory and storage: 16GB/512GB variant seen
Hands-on images of a demo unit showed a 16GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration. It is not yet known whether that variant is a standard option or a top-tier model, and Honor has not published the full list of memory and storage configurations.
Launch date and what remains unknown
The launch is set for October 21, 2026. Honor has not yet disclosed pricing, availability markets, camera specifications, software version, weight and dimensions, or charging speed. A full spec sheet is expected at launch.
The Win Tablet was announced alongside Honor’s Win 2-series phones, but the tablet’s positioning is clear: it targets the Legion Tab Gen 5 and Astra 2 with a smaller screen, a larger battery and active cooling.
