Early iPhone Duo Benchmark Leak Reveals A20 Pro Performance
An early iPhone Duo benchmark has surfaced on Geekbench 7, offering a first look at the performance of Apple’s upcoming dual-screen device ahead of its official debut. The listing shows the handset running the new A20 Pro chip, the same silicon expected in the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
A20 Pro chip specifications

The A20 Pro is built on a 2nm process and features a 6-core CPU paired with a 7-core GPU. The benchmarked device, identified as model iPhone19,4, runs iOS 27.1 and lists a CPU base frequency of 4.93GHz. Memory is reported as 11.30GB, which points to a 12GB RAM configuration.
Geekbench 7 scores and comparison
The iPhone Duo recorded a single-core score of 3986 and a multi-core score of 11067. These figures align closely with benchmark results from the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, which share the same A20 Pro chip. However, the result sits below the top iPhone 18 Pro benchmark scores, and it represents only a single test—scores can vary across runs.
Because the iPhone Duo has two screens while the iPhone 18 Pro has one, real-world performance may differ due to thermal management. The benchmark also did not test GPU speeds, leaving that aspect of the A20 Pro unmeasured for now.
Apple's performance claims
Apple has stated that the A20 Pro’s CPU is up to 20% faster than the A19 Pro, and its GPU is up to 40% faster. This early benchmark does not verify those claims, especially for graphics, but the CPU scores suggest the new chip is at least on par with the iPhone 18 Pro family.
Availability
Pre-orders for the iPhone Duo are scheduled to begin on October 16, with the launch following on October 23. More benchmark results are likely to emerge before then, offering a clearer of how the dual-screen design affects sustained performance.
